Petitioners apprehend their arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 147, 149, 341, 323, 307, 354(B), 379, 504, 506 of the Indian Penal Code. On the alleged date and time of occurrence, while the informant was at his home, all the FIR named accused persons including these petitioners armed with weapons assaulted the informant. Petitioner no 1 Guddu Kumar and others are said to have tried to disrobe the daughter-in-law and wife of the informant. They also snatched gold chain from the neck of the informant and took away Rs 20,000 cash

It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that both parties are agnates and a quarrel took place between them over partition of property. There is general and omnibus allegation of assault against these petitioners. Petitioner no.1 claims clean antecedent and petitioner no.2 got one criminal antecedent in which she is on bail.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, in the event of arrest or surrender within six weeks from today, let the petitioners, as named above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the court of learned C.J.M East Champaran at Motihari in connection with Patahi P.S. Case No 151 of 2022, subject to the conditions laid down under section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
