The petitioner is apprehending her arrest in connection with Bettiah Town P.S.Case No.904 of 2019 registered for offences punishable under Sections30(a) of the Bihr Prohibtion and Excise Act, 2016.

There is allegation of recovery of 03 ltrs. of country-made liquor from the house of the petitioner when the police reached there on information of manufacturing of the liquor. Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that she is a lady and there is no source of identification mentioned in the FIR .

Heard learned A.P.P. who has opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail..

No.3258 of 2020(2) dt.24-01-2020 2/2 Having heard both sides and considering the submissions as made above, I am not inclined to grant privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner, however, the petitioner is directed to surrender before the learned court below and make prayer for regular bail, which will be considered by the learned court below without being prejudiced by the order of this Court and if possible to be disposed of on the same day. With the aforesaid direction, this application is dismissed.
