2. The present application has been filed for quashing the F.I.R. in connection with Gandhi Maidan P.S. Case no. 320 of 2020 registered under Sections 406, 498A and 34 of the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.6145 of 2022(7) dt.09-10-2025 2/2 Indian Penal Code and Sections 3, 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.
3. It has jointly been informed by the parties that the parties, as on date, have separated and decree of divorce has been passed in Matrimonial P.S. Case No. 1411 of 2023.
4. Considering the fact that the parties had already separated and after filing of the present quashing application, they agreed to settle on mutual terms and conditions, which has been drawn in writing on 04.03.2024 and duly signed by the both the parties and the witnesses, I find that further proceeding will only amount to abuse of process of law. The entire proceeding in connection with Gandhi Maidan P.S. Case no. 320 of 2020 is hereby set aside and quashed.
5. Accordingly, the present application stands disposed of.
