Mr.Nagendra Prasad ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE SANDEEP KUMAR ORAL ORDER 20-02-2024 Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State.

2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in a case registered for the offence under Sections 395, 397, 412 of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 25(1-b)a, 26, 35 of the Arms Act.

3. The petitioner is accused of committing dacoity and he is in custody since 07.08.2023.

4. It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that there is no material against the petitioner and he has not been put on T.I. Parade and there is no recovery from the petitioner.

5. Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.9490 of 2024(2) dt.20-02-2024 2/2 prayer of bail and has submitted that petitioner is accused in five more cases of similar and serious nature and materials have come during investigation to connect the petitioner with the crime.

6. Considering the above, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. This application is dismissed.

7. The court below is directed to expedite the trial of the petitioner.
