2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Aurangabad Mahila P.S. Case No. 17 of 2023 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 376 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 67/67(A) of the I.T. Act.

3. The petitioner is accused of making a profile in the name of a girl and send the victim a friend request. After the victim accepted the friend request, the petitioner changed the password of the victim's profile and thereafter he blackmailed the victim and extorted Rs. 3 lakhs from her. The petitioner has also circulated the photographs of intimate moments. The victim is a minor. The petitioner is in jail since 03.10.2023.

4. Learned APP appearing for the State opposes the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.9058 of 2024(3) dt.16-04-2024 2/2 prayer for regular bail of the petitioner.

5. Considering the nature of allegation, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

6. Accordingly, this application stands dismissed.
