The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence under Sections 392 of the Indian Penal Code. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner, who is of clean antecedent, is innocent and has not committed any offence. In fact, the petitioner has been made accused in this case merely on the basis of confessional statement of the co-accused and nothing incriminating has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner and except confession, nothing is on record against the petitioner and the petitioner is rotting in judicial custody since 14.09.2019.
