JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 21-01-2020 The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Chakia P.S. Case No. 409 of 2019, registered for offences punishable under Section 30(a)/30(d)/41 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

Allegation is of recovery of 50 litres of country made liquor from the poultry farm of the petitioner. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he has no criminal antecedent and has falsely been implicated in this case and he has been in judicial custody since 26.11.2019 and ready to abide by any condition imposed on him. Heard learned A.P.P. also.

Having heard both sides, in view of the above facts, let the petitioner above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 25,000 (Rs. Twenty Five Thousand)

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.3648 of 2020(2) dt.21-01-2020 2/2 with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned 9th Additional Sessions Judge -cum-Special Judge, Excise, East Champaran, Motihari, in connection with Chakia P.S. Case No. 409 of 2019, subject to the condition that petitioner has to appear before the Officer-in-Charge of the police station of his area in the first week of each month for a period of six months so that the police may watch his conduct during that period.
