2. The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 341, 323, 498(A), 307, 304B/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3⁄4 of the D.P. Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner along with other co-accused persons are said to have tortured and assaulted the niece of the informant due to non-fulfillment of dowry demand and dropped informant's niece from a Tampoo at his door, who was about to die and fled away, then the informant brought his niece to the hospital for her treatment.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that no such occurrence as alleged ever took place. She is quite

The allegation levelled against the petitioner is not specific rather general and omnibus in nature. He submits that the petitioner is sister-in-law of the deceased. He further submits that the deceased was an acute bronchitis Asthma patient and she died due to her disease. The petitioner has no criminal antecedent and has been languishing in custody since 19.10.2023.

5. Learned APP for the State opposed the bail petition.

6. Considering the facts aforesaid and the custody of the petitioner, the above named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Court below where the case is pending/successor Court in connection with Pipra P.S. Case No. 59 of 2022.
