Petitioners seek bail in connection with Triveniganj P.S. Case No. 222 of 2019 registered for the offence punishable under sections 341, 323, 307, 379 and 504/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel appearing for the informant submitted that since the petitioner is on police bail, the present bail application of the petitioners is not maintainable.

No.3911 of 2020(2) dt.22-06-2020 2/2 In this view of the matter, in case petitioners surrender within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, in connection with Triveniganj P.S. case No. 222 of 2019, the Court below shall consider the prayer for regular bail of the petitioners in light of the ratio laid down in the case of Mahendra Prasad Singh Vs. The State of Bihar, reported in P.L.J.R. 2004 (3) P.L.J.R. 491.

With the above observations, the application stands disposed of.
