The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Laheri P.S. Case No. 66/2015 for the offences punishable under sections 419, 420 and 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code.
The prosecution case, in brief, is that the petitioner was caught while impersonating someone in the Annual Matriculation Examination of 2015.
It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that due to mistake of fact the petitioner has been made accused in the present case. As per the prosecution case, it has been alleged that during the matriculation examination the petitioner had appeared on behalf of some other candidate.
It has been further submitted that the petitioner has no
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.16745 of 2015 (2) dt.11-06-2015 2 / 2 criminal antecedent, and he is in custody since 18-3-2015. On behalf of the State it has been submitted that the petitioner is named in the F.I.R.
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner Rajiv Kumar be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Nalanda in Laheri P.S. Case No. 66/15.
