The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Raniganj P.S. Case No. 218/2014 for the offences punishable under sections 420 and 406 of the Indian Penal Code and section 138 of the Negotiable Instrument Act.
The prosecution case, in brief, is that on the presentation of two cheques by the informant, issued by the petitioner, before the S.B.I. Branch, Raniganj, for crediting the same in his Account, they were dishonored due to non-sufficient amount and forged signature on the cheques.
It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner and the informant were partners in business. It is further submitted that the ground on which the cheques have been bounced is that the signatures of the petitioner on the cheques do

It is further submitted that the petitioner is in custody since 18-3-2015 On behalf of the State it has been submitted that the petitioner is named in the F.I.R.
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner Rajeev Kumar Yadav be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Araria, in connection with Raniganj P.S. Case No. 218/2014.
