The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "(i) For quashing of order as contained in letter no. 7658(Bh) dated 28.12.2021 passed by the Joint Secretary, Building Construction Department (respondent no.16 herein), by which in the light of circular of the General Administrative Department bearing letter no.945 dated 24.6.2005 complaint of the petitioner has been rejected in the absence of desired affidavit and evidence, which was filed on 24.12.2020 and onward against misuse of posts held by the 6 I.A.S. Officers, Electrical Engineers and employees posted under Building Construction Department as well as Energy Department, Government of Bihar against corrupt and fraudulent activities and causing loss of government money by earning illegal property, providing protection to the corrupt persons and with a prayer for lodging F.I.R. under relevant sections in the

Patna High Court CWJC No.2288 of 2023(2) dt.26-09-2023 3/3 CBI against the persons mentioned in that representations and with a prayer for confiscation of illegal property acquired by them.

(ii) Further prayer for a direction to the respondents to entrust the enquiry of the representation/complaint dated 24.12.2020, 12.02.2021, 09.04.2021, 06.07.2021 and 30.08.2021/31.08.2021 to appropriate authorities and taking legal action in accordance with law."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

The writ petition stands dismissed as not pressed.
