JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 23-03-2022 The present petition has been filed by the petitioner for extending the time granted to him for surrendering before the learned court below, vide order dated 26.11.2021 passed in Criminal Miscellaneous No. 10207 of 2021.

The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that on account of the petitioner suffering from Hepatitis C & other ailments, he could not surrender within the time frame prescribed by this Court by the aforesaid order dated 26.11.2021, hence, he seeks extension of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.5878 of 2022(3) dt.23-03-2022 2/2 time granted for the purposes of surrendering and being admitted to the privilege of anticipatory bail. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, considering the averments made in the present petition and taking into account the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner, I deem it fit and proper to extend the time granted to the petitioner, by this Court by an order dated 26.11.2021, for the purposes of surrendering before the learned court of Special Judge (Electricity), Magadh Area, Gaya in connection with Belaganj P.S.Case No. 67 of 2020, by a further period of four weeks from today. The present petition stands disposed of with the aforesaid modification in the order dated 26.11.2021 passed in Criminal Miscellaneous No. 10207 of 2021. The rest of the order dated 26.11.2021 shall remain as it is.
