Though the petitioner was appointed on the post of Anganwari Sewika in Ward No. 2, Rohua Gram Panchayat but on account of a finding that the academic certificates furnished by the petitioner were not genuine, the services of the petitioner have been terminated by the District Programme Officer, Sheohar.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that no opportunity was given to her to represent her case or to prove that her appointment was genuine.

Patna High Court CWJC No.1995 of 2019 dt.06-02-2019 2/2 However, the petitioner has not approached the District Magistrate, Sheohar for redressal of her grievances against the order passed by the District Programme Officer, Sheohar.

Under the aforesaid circumstances, the petitioner is directed to prefer an appeal against the order of termination passed by the District Programme Officer, Sheohar before the District Magistrate, Sheohar within a period of four weeks. Such appeal, if so preferred within the aforesaid period, shall be heard, giving an opportunity to the petitioner to raise all her defence, and thereafter order shall be passed in accordance with, law preferably within a period of six weeks. With the aforesaid observation / direction, this writ petition stands disposed off.
