2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Marhowrah P.S. Case No. 493 of 2024 instituted for the offences under Sections 64 of the B.N.S. and Section 67 A of the I.T. Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is alleged to have committed rape upon the informant and made a video which subsequently went viral.

4. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. It is further submitted that the petitioner is the next door neighbour of the informant and due to dispute with regard to the drainage this false case has been lodged. It is lastly submitted that the petitioner has clean criminal antecedent and

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail and has stated that during the course of the investigation it has come that the petitioner had allowed his friends to record the video of the said incident and also made it viral.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the materials on record, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner and the same is rejected in connection with Marhowrah P.S. Case No. 493 of 2024 pending in the court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Saran at Chapra.

7. However, the petitioner shall be at liberty to renew the prayer for bail once the charges are framed.

8. Accordingly, the present application stands rejected.
