The petitioner has renewed his prayer for grant of regular bail in a case registered under sections 307 and 120B of the Indian Penal Code and section 27 of the Arms Act. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is said to have fired on the informant hitting him in his arm. The petitioner and one another were caught at the place of occurrence.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the earlier application for bail of the petitioner was rejected vide order dated 16.5.2022 (Annexure-1) passed in Cr. Misc. no. 63739 of 2021 giving liberty to the petitioner to renew his prayer for bail after six months. The petitioner is in custody since 17.4.2021.

Case no. 18 of 2021) on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned 11th Additional Sessions Judge, Samastipur.
