The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code. As per the prosecution case, two miscreants riding on a motorcycle snatched the bag of the informant containing cash of Rs. 80,000/- (Rupees eighty thousand).

It is submitted on behalf of petitioner that petitioner has been named by the co-accused, who was apprehended on spot. No looted money has been recovered from the possession of this petitioner and till date, petitioner has not been put on T.I.Parade. Petitioner claims clean antecedent and he is in custody since 12.02.2021.

Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the bail petition.

Let the above named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M., Katihar in connection with Kodha P.S. Case No. 52 of 2021.
