Heard learned counsels for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner being mother of the husband of the victim is languishing in custody since 1.2.2016 in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498A and 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The basic accusation is of torture and abetting the victim to commit suicide.

Considering the thrust of accusation against the husband of the victim and the petitioner being lady, let the above named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the
