The present application has been filed for modification of the order dated 20.10.2022, passed in Cr. Appeal (SJ) No. 1478 of 2022, by which the four accused persons (appellants) were granted anticipatory bail and were directed to surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks. Two of them, Munna Mahto and Raghuvir Mahto could not surrender as they were working in Punjab. The learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.31485 of 2023(2) dt.10-05-2023 2/2 that Raghuvir Mahto (petitioner no.2) has been arrested and as such, the case as against him has become infructous. So far as petitioner no.1 Munna Mahto is concerned, the application is allowed and the time granted by order 20.10.2022, passed in Cr. Appeal (SJ) No. 1478 of 2022 for surrender of the petitioner Munna Mahto and furnishing bail bond is extended by four weeks from today.
