Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that considering the relief as sought for in the present writ petition, petitioner is ready to deposit entire amount as prescribed in the notice inviting application for allotment of shop. Petitioner has made an application on 21.07.2011 and again in the year 2013 on 10.06.2013. He, however, admits that
Patna High Court CWJC No.9256 of 2017 dt.12-02-2024 2/2 the entire amount was not deposited and therefore application of the petitioner was not considered as informed by the Public Grievance Redressal Officer. Now, the petitioner informs that still shops are vacant and the same have not been allotted to anyone till date.
3. Considering the aforesaid submission and information given by the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, the petitioner may approach the Executive Officer, Nagar Parishad, Dumraon, Buxar for allotment of the shop, in case the shops are still vacant.
4. The Executive Officer, Nagar Parishad, Dumraon must proceed to take steps for allotment of shop in favour of the petitioner if the petitioner fulfills the criteria and deposits the entire amount within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order.
5. The writ petition stands disposed of.
