JUSTICE RAJEEV RANJAN PRASAD ORAL ORDER 30-04-2019 Petitioner is aggrieved by Annexure- '9' to the writ application by which the entire selection process for PDS licence has been cancelled by the Selection Committee. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there was no reason for the Selection Committee to cancel the whole selection process only because an objection was filed by one of the candidates. Learned counsel for the State submits that the petitioner has no reason to be aggrieved by cancellation of the selection process as the employer/State in this case has got power to take an appropriate decision in this regard. The Selection Committee has taken a decision to re-advertise the vacancy and to go for a fresh selection process. After going through the materials available on the record, this Court finds no reason to interfere with the decision of the Selection Committee as the Court is of the view that only by cancelling the selection process the Selection Committee cannot be said to have acted beyond its power and authority or has indulged in any discrimination or alteration of level playing field.

This writ application is, thus, dismissed.
