2. This application is filed for initiation of contempt proceeding against the respondents/opposite parties for alleged
Patna High Court MJC No.219 of 2019(7) dt.19-12-2025 2/3 non-compliance and willful disobedience of the order dated 19.07.2018 passed in CWJC NO.4133 of 2018. In CWJC NO.4133 of 2018, the operation portion of the order dated 19.07.2018 was as follows:
"4. In case the petitioners file representation along with copy of this order, the respondent- University will take final decision within a maximum period of four months from the date of receipt of the representation and if it is found that the petitioners were appointed against sanctioned post having requisite qualification before the colleges were made constituent unit of University in question, appropriate order may be passed in the light of the decision in CWJC No. 17670 of 2017 within the aforesaid period."
3. Learned counsel appearing for respondent University submits that in compliance of the aforesaid order passed by the writ court the representation filed by the petitioner has already been decided by Memo No.05/25 dated 24.04.2025 (Annexure-A to the show-cause) and therefore, the order in question has already been complied with.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner also agrees with this position.

5. In such view of the matter, the cause of action does not survive and hence the present application is, accordingly, disposed of. Petitioner would be at liberty to challenge the order dated 24.04.2025, if the petitioner so desires. (Alok Kumar Sinha, J) Prakash Narayan U
