JUSTICE PURNENDU SINGH ORAL ORDER 02-12-2021 Heard learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and learned APP appearing on behalf of the State. In compliance of the order dated 15.11.2021, a report has been communicated on 26.11.2021 by e-mail from which it appears that some of the prosecution witnesses have not been examined and the prayer for extension of time for conclusion of trial has been made.

In view of the report submitted, the Court below is directed to expeditiously hold a trial preferably within a period of six months.

In case, substantial progress does not take place in conduct of trial, the petitioner, if so advised, may renew his prayer for bail after the aforesaid period.
