Let the defect(s), if any, be removed within a period of four weeks from today.

The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Chandi P.S. Case No. 304 of 2022 registered for the offence under Sections 30(a), 36 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act, 2018.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 02.12.2022 and there is recovery of 20 litres of Mahua from his possession and he has no criminal antecedent.

Learned APP has vehemently opposed the prayer of bail.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.7657 of 2023(2) dt.03-05-2023 2/2 Considering the period of custody and recovery of liquor from his possession, this application for regular bail is allowed.

Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Exclusive Special Excise Court No. 1, Bhojpur at Arah in connection with Chandi P.S.
