2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Jankinagar P.S. Case No. 418 of 2024 dated 20.11.2024 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 8(c) and 21(b) of the N.D.P.S. Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, total 8.13 grams smack (Brown Sugar) and Rs. 200/- in cash were recovered from the possession of the petitioner.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. It is submitted that nothing has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner and has no concern with the alleged recovery. It is also submitted that the petitioner

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the bail petition of the petitioner.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case and submissions of learned counsel for the parties, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner and the same is rejected.

7. Learned court below is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same within one year.
