The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

As per allegations in the FIR, 35 litres of country liquor was recovered from the house of the petitioner and the petitioner was taken into custody.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that no incriminating article has been recovered from his possession. He has been falsely implicated in the case. He is in custody since 27.11.2020 and investigation in the case has concluded.

Heard learned APP for the State.

No.15704 of 2021(3) dt.24-08-2021 2/2 Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the petitioner having three criminal antecedents under the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016, the Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail and the application is rejected.

Liberty is granted to the petitioner to renew his prayer for bail on completing 1 year in custody.
