JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 08-04-2022 Heard both parties through video conferencing. The petitioner seeks bail in Sonepur P.S. Case No. 242 of 2021, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 341, 323, 304(B), 498(A), 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code and sections 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

It is a case of dowry death. Petitioner happens to be father-in-law of the deceased.

It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that thrust of accusation is against husband of the deceased who is already in custody. Petitioner is father-in-law of the deceased and he is separate in mess and property. There is general and omnibus allegation. Petitioner is in custody since 13.06.2021 having no criminal antecedent. Investigation is complete. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.7628 of 2022(2) dt.08-04-2022 2/2 and the fact that petitioner is father-in-law of the deceased and there is general and omnibus allegation, the petitioner abovenamed, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Saran in connection with Sonepur P.S. Case No. 242 of 2021.
