Despite valid service of notice, on repeated calls, nobody appears on behalf of the State.

The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Kotwali (Adampur) P. S. Case No. 697 of 2016 registered under Sections 409, 420, 467, 468, 471, 120-B of the Indian Penal Code.

Regard being had to the fact that the case against the petitioner is that he obtained government employment on the basis of forged educational certificate, I am not inclined to grant him pre-arrest bail even though some other co-accused persons have been granted bail by different Benches of this

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.21067 of 2017 (3) dt.06-07-2017 2/2 Court. Accordingly, his prayer for grant of pre-arrest bail is rejected.

However, in case the petitioner surrenders and seeks bail, the same shall be considered on its own merit without being prejudiced in any manner by this order. (Ashwani Kumar Singh, J) Kanchan/- U T
