Petitioners apprehend arrest in connection with Sitamarhi P.S. Case No. 339 of 2020 registered for the offence punishable under sections 364(A), 304(B), 323, 498(A), 504, 506, 120B, 341 of the Indian Penal Code and sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that petitioners have been implicated in this case merely on basis of suspicion because they are relatives of the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.16861 of 2021(2) dt.06-01-2022 2/2 husband of the daughter of the informant. The present complaint has been filed after 10 days of the alleged occurrence without there being any plausible explanation for the delay. Petitioners have no criminal antecedent. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions advanced on behalf of the parties, let the petitioners, above named, in the event of arrest or surrender within a period of four weeks from today, be released on bail on furnishing personal bond to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sitamarhi in connection with Sitamarhi P.S.
