The present modification application has been filed for modification of the order dated 23.6.2020 passed in Cr. Misc. 10537 of 2020 to the extent that time granted for surrender of the petitioner in connection with Harshidhi P.S. Case No. 190 of 2017 be extended by further four weeks. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that due to lockdown, the petitioner could not surrender before the court below for furnishing bail bonds within six weeks time granted to the petitioner and, as such, prayer has been made for extension

Having regard to the submissions made by the petitioner, the order dated 23.06.2020 passed in Cr. Misc. 10537 of 2020 is modified to the extent that time granted for surrender of the petitioner in connection with Harshidhi P.S. Case No. 190 of 2017 is extended by further three weeks.

Accordingly, this modification application stands allowed.
