In this case, the petitioner has claimed an amount of Rs. 10,00,000/- as having been claimed to have supplied the bricks for work under the MANREGA Scheme.
The petitioner was engaged in the brick work under the name and style of Sangam Bricks Industry situated in the village Bara in the district of Jehanabad. As per claim of the petitioner, he has supplied bricks of Rs. 15,00,000/- under the MANREGA Scheme in
Patna High Court CWJC No.11178 of 2017 dt.13-10-2017 the Gram Panchayat, Berra, Block Masaurhi, Patna for the financial year 2014-15. The total price of the bricks was Rs. 15,00,000/- out of which only Rs. 5,00,000/- has been paid and for rest of the amount of Rs. 10,00,000/-, he has been deprived.
Let the petitioner should file a representation before the District Magistrate, Patna who will call for the records and, after looking to the facts and circumstances, will release the admitted amount of dues as has been claimed by the petitioner. If the District Magistrate, Patna will not agreeable to the claim of the petitioner, he will be obliged to give a notice to the petitioner and, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, will pass a reasoned order within a period of four months from the date of filing of the representation along with a copy of this order. With the aforementioned observation and direction, this application is disposed of.
