Matter relates to financial irregularity by the Members of the Panchayat including Mukhiya, Panchayat Secretary, Block Development Officer etc. in the matter of installation of solar light.

In our opinion, there are sufficient provisions in the Bihar Panchayat Raj Act, 2006 for raising issue of such kind which allow examination into financial irregularities committed and the petitioner, if so advised, can raise the issue before the

Patna High Court CWJC No.2523 of 2019(2) dt.13-02-2019 2/2 concerned authority.

It goes without saying that any such issue raised together with supportive facts as well as materials indicating any financial irregularity shall be considered and disposed of by the authority concerned within three months of such filing. This disposes of the writ petition.
