Mithila University (hereinafter referred to as the 'University').

2. The petitioner superannuated on 31.01.2019 from the post of Professor, L. N. Mithila University has approached this Court seeking a direction upon the respondent University to ensure payment of all the admissible retiral benefits and other dues.

3. Learned Advocate for the University submits that during the pendency of the writ petition certain admissible amount has been paid to the petitioner.

Refuting the aforesaid contention, learned Advocate for the petitioner submits that since the petitioner has not been paid all the remaining due amount and his claim has not been finally settled, the writ petition may be disposed off with a liberty to the petitioner to file an appropriate representation before the Registrar of the University, who shall consider the claim of the petitioner and ensure payment.

In view thereof, the present writ petition stands disposed off with a liberty to the petitioner to file a detailed representation before the Registrar of the University, preferably within a period of four weeks. In case, such representation is filed, the Registrar of the University shall dispose off the same by reasoned and speaking order, preferably within a further period of 12 weeks thereafter. If the claim of the petitioner finds favour, admissible due amount shall also be paid.

6. The writ petition stands disposed off.
