JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 05-02-2020 The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Excise Case No. 431 of 2019, registered for offences punishable under Sections 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act, 2018.

Allegation is of recovery of 70 litres of liquor outside of the house of the petitioner concealed in the sand. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he has falsely been implicated in this case and nothing has been recovered either from the house of the petitioner or from his possession. Further he has no criminal antecedent and has been in judicial custody since 16.12.2019.

Having heard both sides, in view of the above facts, let

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.6500 of 2020(2) dt.05-02-2020 2/2 the petitioner above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 25,000 (Rs. Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional District & Sessins Judge -cum-Special Judge, Excise, Gopalganj, in connection with Excise Case No. 431 of 2019.
