The petitioners seek bail in anticipation of their arrest in connection with Chainpur P. S. Case No. 292 of 2020, instituted for the offences under Sections 147, 148, 149, 109, 341, 323, 324, 325, 307, 379 and 504 of the Indian Penal Code.

They are alleged to have assaulted two persons by Lathi and crutches but the injuries suffered by them have been reported to be simple in nature. There is a past dispute

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.11670 of 2021(2) dt.22-02-2022 2/2 between the families but the aforesaid case was lodged because of some occurrence which took place at the time of pulling wire from the common electric pole.

Regard being had to the fact that the victims have received simple injuries and there is a background of enmity, the petitioners, above-named, are directed to be released on bail, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt / production of a copy of this order, on their furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000 /- (Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned A.C.J.M.-2nd, Kaimur at Bhabhua in connection with Chainpur P. S. Case No. 292 of 2020, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C.

The application stands allowed.
