The bail petition of petitioner was lastly rejected on 24.03.2021, vide Cr.Misc. No. 2098 of 2021.

On last occasion, vide order dated 09.03.2022, a report was called for from the court below, which has been received and from perusal of the same, it appears that the trial is at the stage of prosecution evidence and out of seven prosecution witnesses, three witnesses have been examined. Considering the nature of accusation and progress of the trial, the bail petition of petitioner is rejected. However, since the petitioner is in custody since 17.06.2019, the learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial. (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J) anay/- U T
