Petitioner apprehends arrest in case registered for the offence punishable under Section 304(B) of the Indian Penal Code.

It is a case of dowry death.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that F.I.R. has been lodged after delay of six days without any plausible explanation. It is next submitted that the deceased committed suicide. Only with a view to harass and extort money from the petitioner this false and concocted case has been lodged against him.

Learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the prayer for bail application and submits that there is specific and direct

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.5547 of 2023(6) dt.11-07-2023 2/2 allegation that this petitioner along with other accused persons killed the sister of the informant for non-fulfillment of demand of dowry.
