Four petitioners, who are in-laws members of the opposite party no. 2 , have approached this court for grant of bail in the event of their arrest or surrender in connection with Sonebarsa P.S. Case No. 181 of 2018, registered for offence under Section 498(A) of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3⁄4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.7676 of 2019(3) dt.04-04-2019 2/3 It was argued by learned counsel for the petitioners that husband of opposite party no. 2 has filed separate anticipatory bail petition.

Considering the fact that husband has already filed separate anticipatory bail petition and petitioners are father- inlaw, mother-in-law, brother of husband of opposite party no. 2 and wife of petitioner no. 3 respectively , there is no reason to refuse the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail. Accordingly, in view of nature of accusation and status of petitioners, in the event of their arrest or surrender within a period of six weeks from today, let aforesaid four petitioners :- (1) Ashok Paswan @ Ashok Kumar Paswan, (2) Parwati Devi , (3) Randhir Paswan @ Randhir Kumar and (4) Arti Devi be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- ( rupees ten thousand ) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sitamarhi / concerned court in connection with Sonbarsa P.S. Case No. 181 of 2018 subject to the conditions as contemplated under Section 438 (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973.

It is made clear that this anticipatory bail order may not be taken note of while hearing anticipatory bail petition of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.7676 of 2019(3) dt.04-04-2019 3/3 husband of opposite party no. 2. The Registry is directed to place this order in the anticipatory bail petition, if filed by husband of opposite party no. 2.
