JUSTICE RAKESH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 29-06-2016 Heard Sri Surendra Kishore Thakur, learned counsel for the petitioner. None appeared on behalf of the State. This is second attempt for grant of bail. Earlier, prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected mainly on the ground that in the case a nine year boy was kidnapped and subsequently killed. Even after murder ransom amount was obtained by the accused person and secondly antecedent of the petitioner was also a ground for rejection of the prayer for bail. In this case earlier a report was called for from the court below regarding the stage of the case , which has been received and kept at flag 'G'. The report dated 21.5.2016 suggests that after framing of charge almost all the witnesses have been examined save and except two official witnesses.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.19975 of 2016 (3) dt.29-06-2016 2/2 Keeping in view the fact that the trial is at the fag end there is no reason to review my earlier order. The petition stands rejected. However, keeping in view the fact that petitioner is in custody, it is desirable to observe that the learned court below may take all steps for early disposal of the trial. The petition again stands dismissed. The court expects that prosecution will render full assistance to the trial court for early disposal since only official witnesses are required to be examined. The concerned Superintendent of Police is required to ensure production of official witnesses before the court below as and when required by the trial court.

Let a copy of this order be sent to the concerned Superintendent of Police.
