Let the defect(s), if any, be removed within a period of four weeks from today.

The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Piprahi P.S. Case No. 172 of 2021 registered for the offence under Sections 30(A) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act 2018.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 08.10.2022 and there is recovery of 98.700 liters of Nepali Desi Karishma Liquor near the bank of the river.

Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.5533 of 2023(2) dt.03-05-2023 2/2 bail.

Considering the period of custody and the recovery of liquor, this application for regular bail is allowed. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Sessions Judge-cum-Exclusive Special Judge, Excise, Sheoohar in connection with Piprahi P.S. Case No. 172/2021.
