The petitioner is in custody in connection with N.D.P.S. Case No. 04 of 2017, arising out of Barachatti P.S. Case No. 166 of 2014, for the offence under Sections 20 and 22 of the N.D.P.S. Act.
In the instant case 68 Kg Ganja was seized from the house of the petitioner.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 06.12.2016. He submits that at the time of seizure, the petitioner was not present in his house and he was not aware about the fact that Ganja was kept behind his back in the house. He submits that the petitioner at the relevant time was at Haryana and was not present in his house.

No.4802 of 2019(2) dt.29-01-2019 2/2 criminal antecedent and he has remained in custody for more than two years, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Additional Sessions Judge-I, Gaya in connection with N.D.P.S. Case No. 04 of 2017, arising out of Barachatti P.S. Case No. 166 of 2014.
