JUSTICE ASHWANI KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 19-05-2016 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Sultanganj P.S. Case No. 229 of 2015 registered under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that apart from confessional statement of the co-accused, there is no other material to connect the petitioner with the alleged offence. It is also submitted that though the petitioner was taken into custody on 22nd January, 2016, he has not been put on T.I.Parade till date.

It is further contended that similarly circumstanced coaccused, namely, Santosh Kumar Mandal has already been granted

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.21689 of 2016 (2) dt.19-05-2016 2/2 bail by a co-ordinate Bench of this Court vide order dated 31.3.2016 passed in Cr. Misc. No.12907 of 2016. Regard being had to the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-1, Bhagalpur in connection with Sultanganj P.S. Case No.229 of 2015.
