The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Complaint Case No.2232 of 2017 registered under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code.

The complainant alleged that she was married to the petitioner in the year 2010. She further made allegation that the petitioner always subjected her to physical and mental torture on account of non-fulfillment of demand of dowry. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the allegation of demand of dowry is false. The complainant herself does not want to live with the petitioner. She left the house of petitioner and filed Miscellaneous Case No.183 of 2017 on

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.5519 of 2019(2) dt.31-01-2019 2/2 03.08.2017 in the court of Principal Judge, Family Court and thereafter the complainant alleged that on 14.10.2017 the petitioner and others came to her house and stayed in the night. The petitioner assaulted the complainant and tried to take her thumb impression on a plain paper, thereafter the complainant filed the present case.

Having considered the facts and the nature of allegation made against the petitioner, the above named petitioner, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M., Siwan in connection with Complaint Case No.2232 of 2017, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
