The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Amdabad P.S. Case No. 139 of 2019 registered for the offences under Sections 341, 323, 307, 379, 354 and 504/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The allegation against the petitioner is that he has assaulted two persons and one of them has sustained grievous injury.

It has been submitted that the petitioner is alleged to have assaulted two persons by hard and blunt substance like Khanti but one of them has sustained injury. There is case and counter case between the parties.

In view of the fact that the petitioner assaulted two persons and one of them sustained grievous injury, in my

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.4297 of 2020(8) dt.25-10-2021 2/2 opinion, this is not a fit case for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Prayer for anticipatory bail is hereby rejected. In case the petitioner surrenders before the court below and seeks regular bail within a period of four weeks from today, the court below shall consider and dispose of the same on its own merits without being prejudiced by the order of rejection of this application.
