JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 14-11-2019 The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has filed an application on 16.09.2014 before the District Magistrate, Patna, for grant of arms licence inasmuch as he has a genuine grievance of threat to his life on account of his younger brother having been murdered by criminals, however, the same has not been disposed of.

Having regard to the short prayer made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, I deem it fit and proper to dispose of the present writ petition with a direction to the District Magistrate, Patna to dispose of the pending application of the petitioner bearing Arms Case No. 09-563 of 2014 by passing the

Patna High Court CWJC No.11318 of 2017(3) dt.14-11-2019 2/2 final orders, if not already passed, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

The writ petition stands disposed of on the aforesaid terms.
