This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents for disposing of his representation dated 13.02.2020, which is pending before the Respondent No. 5 for a long time.

The petitioner has not been paid the increment in his salary despite his having passed the Ph.D. examination. However, the said benefits

Patna High Court CWJC No.1599 of 2022(2) dt.10-02-2022 2/2 have been given to other Professors.

Under the aforesaid circumstances, this Court directs that if a fresh representation is filed by the petitioner before Respondent No. 5 within a period of two weeks, that representation shall be disposed off by the concerned respondent within a further period of four weeks, taking into account all the relevant facts including that all other similarly situated persons have been given an enhanced salary which has not been allowed to the petitioner for no apparent reason.

With the aforesaid observation / direction, this petition stands disposed off.
