2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Sessions Trial No. 07 of 2025, arising out of Sonepur P.S. Case No. 392 of 2023, lodged on 23.05.2023 under Sections 304(B) & 34 of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 3/4 of the D.P. Act.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the bail application of the petitioner was earlier rejected vide order dated 17.01.2025 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 85934 of 2024. Counsel further submits that at the time of rejection, the Trial Court was directed to expedite the trial as early as possible. Counsel further submits that the petitioner has been in custody since 05.09.2025, has clean criminal antecedents, and till date
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.7187 of 2026(4) dt.10-04-2026 2/2 the trial has not been concluded. Counsel also submits that on the previous occasion, a report regarding the present stage of the trial was called for.

Learned APP for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that a report has been called for and, from the said report, it transpires that out of six prosecution witnesses, three prosecution witnesses have been examined, and it has been indicated by the Trial Court that the trial is expected to be concluded within six months.
5. In the present facts and circumstances of this case and the submissions made above, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage. Accordingly, the bail application of the petitioner is hereby rejected. (Dr. Anshuman, J.) Aman Kumar/- U T
