2. The petitioner apprehends arrest in connection with Andhramath P.S. Case No. 106 of 2025 registered for offences under Sections 126(2), 115(2), 118, 109, 329(3) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and Sections 25(1-B)a, 26, 27 and 35 of the Arms Act.
3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is accused of assaulting the informant.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is quite innocent and has not committed any offence. He further submits that the petitioner is said to have been injured Umakant Mandal who has sustained a simple injury
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.4518 of 2026(2) dt.24-02-2026 2/2 caused by hard and blunt substance. He further submits that there is no recovery of incriminating article from the possession of the petitioner.
5. Learned APP for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.
6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this application for anticipatory bail stands allowed.
7. Accordingly, let the petitioner, above-named, in the event of arrest or surrender within four weeks from today in the Court below, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending/successor Court in connection with Andramath P.S. Case No. 106 of 2025 subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482(2) of the BNSS. (Sandeep Kumar, J) Shishir/- U T
