Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 7, 8, 13(2) read with Section 13(i) (D) of P.C. Act.
Petitioner was working as General Manager at the relevant time but according to prosecution case, it was co-accused, Nawal Kishore who was caught taking bribe money and so far as petitioner is concerned, the allegation maker stated against him only to this extent that when he met the petitioner, the petitioner directed him to meet with co-accused, Nawal Kishore. Moreover, co-accused, Nawal Kishore has already been granted privilege of
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.20328 of 2016 (2) dt.09-05-2016 2/2 bail by this court whereas petitioner is in jail custody since 22.03.2016 Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances as well as submissions of the parties, let the petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, Vigilance, (North Bihar), Muzaffarpur in connection with Special Case No. 18A of 2015 arising out of Vigilance Case No. 54 of 2015.
