The petitioner seeks a direction to the Circle Officer, Parihar, Sitamarhi to accept rent and issue rent receipt in favour of the petitioner, in the light of the decree passed in her favour in Title Suit No. 356 of 2013, in respect of the land bearing Khata No. 275, Khesra No.183, area 04 decimal of Mauza Sahargama in the district of Sitamarhi.
It is stated in paragraph 5 of the writ application that a mutation case was filed, giving rise to Mutation Case No. 3379 of 2012-13 which, too, has been decided in favour of the
Patna High Court CWJC No.9701 of 2017(3) dt.12-03-2019 2/2 petitioner, but the rent receipt has not yet been issued. Considering the nature of the grievance, which the petitioner has raised in the present writ application, in my view, she has a statutory remedy under the Bihar Right to Public Service Act, 2011/Bihar Right to Public Grievance Redressal Act, 2015, which she may avail.
It is directed that if the petitioner makes an application under either of the provisions of the Act(s), her application shall be considered and disposed of within the statutory time prescribed under the Act(s) or the Rules framed thereunder.
The writ application is disposed of accordingly. (Chakradhari Sharan Singh, J) HR/- U
